Evonne Fields-Gould received her Associate of Applied Science degree from Cuyahoga Community College in August of 1980.  She studied History and English at Kent State University from 2009 to 2016.  Fields-Gould became a writer, co/writer and a featured voice performer in various audio drama productions, including, SPACE TRAVELER JIM, from 1997 to 2001, for Little Beth Audio Group.  The audio plays were aired on a local radio station, WJCU: John Carroll University. 

 

Ms. Fields-Gould has worked on several independent films from 1996 to 2015.  She worked as a writer/co-writer, producer, and production manager on all productions produced under Little Beth Entertainment.  She also worked as costumer designer and seamstress for THE LORDS OF PRAXTON in 2006 and as costume designer/supervisor for A SILENT TRUTH in 2012.  Ms. Fields-Gould is a Telly® Award winner in 2008 and a Communicator® Award in 2010.  Movie credits include: THE WAY HOME (2004), THE LORDS OF PRAXTON (2006), TO SEE THE MOON IN THE MORNING SKY (2007), THE FORGOTTEN ONES (2009), TURNING POINT (2010), A SILENT TRUTH (2012), AND THE INTERVIEW (2015).  

 

In 2016, Fields-Gould completed writing her first stage play, LIFE, LOVE AND BOOBS, which was performed at the Fade to Black Play Festival in Huston Texas, in June 2017.  She is currently submitting plays to theatres for production and to publishing houses for publication consideration, while working on her next stage play.  Ms. Fields-Gould’s monologue, entitled, CAN THERE BE JUSTICE FOR TJ, was performed at the 2018 Seneca Falls Dialogue conference is published for academic study in the Seneca Falls Dialogue Journal in 2019.  In August of 2019 was honored to have her short stage play, FOR THE LOVE OF APRIL, published by the distinguished London, U.K. publishing house, Lazy Bee Scripts.  In 2021, WHERE WINTER RESTS ON A WOUNDED HEART, was produced by Wake Up and Live With the Arts for a stage reading in Cleveland, Ohio.  Also in 2021, CAN THERE BE JUSTICE FOR TJ: THE MONOLOGUE was awarded a Silver Davey Award for online video production.  Additionally, CAN THERE BE JUSTICE FOR TJ: THE STAGE PLAY, was one of five stage plays, out of a total of over 400 submissions to be selected for performance at the 2022 British Theatre Challenge in London, produced by Sky Blue Theatre Co.

In 2018 Fields-Gould, published her first novel, A BOND OF LOVE, and is also currently working on a collection of short stories and monologues, and a second novel.  In her free time, Ms. Fields-Gould enjoys hand quilting.  Over the years she has made traditional, art, and social activist quilts.  Quilting is an art & craft that Fields-Gould finds to be very relaxing and therapeutic.  Several of her quilts have been on display in a gallery at Kent State University in 2018.
